Name: Malafina Nephlim (Mal or Mala to her friends)
Occupation: Fortune Teller/Con artist/Tavern owner (The Fox and Swan)
Alias: Madonna, Lady Sybil, Madame Belladonna.
Mal is the youngest of three daughters. Born to a father of some prestige with in the town of Combe. A healer by trade, his parents had been wealthy enough to send him to an academy in Gondor where he learned from the best. As a young man he returned home, married the love of his life and lived in relative peace. For Mal's part, she hated her upbringing, hated being the daughter of a healer and wanted a greater adventure else where. A constant rebel and mischief maker, Mal seemed determined to shirk the quiet life. That came in the form of a very elderly noble man who came from Gondor seeking her father's healing touch. A widower with plenty of money to his name, Mal wed him and moved to the Cape of Belfas and lived extravagently until her husband passed 4 years later.
Not long after she met her second husband in Lossarnach during a Spring festival. It was only 6 months before she was wed again. and only 8 months after that before her second husband was dead. While no offical could find proof, Mal was suspected of the illness that claimed her groom.
Mal returned home to Bree, eventually finding a new husband; a tavern owner. He wasn't as wealthy as her 1st or 2nd husband but he had a thriving business that Mal eventually took over when became suddenly ill as well. For close to a decade her husband lingered in poor health, mostly confined to a bed. In that time Mal became a staple of the Bree community and recently she remodled her tavern which became a monument to Gondor.
