Name:
Lunadros
Age:
Unknown (he is in the Elves' second life cycle, he is an adult)
Rank/Title:
"of Imladris" (given to him by the few people who know him, and himself)
Gender/Sex:
Male
Family:
His parents still (supposedly) live in Rivendell.
Occupation:
Wanderer, historian, explorer
Appearance:
Lunadros is a tall, slender Elf, with raven black hair that covers his head, but does not grow any further (unlike many other elves' hair). His skin is pale, and his body is average built - not too strong, since he studies, and sits around a lot, but not too weak, due to him wandering for long, unknown number of years. His eyes shine with a bright blue color, and they have become very sharp due to him constantly reading, studying, and observing his environment. However, under those bright blue eyes, Lunadros has wide black marks, since he barely sleeps at all.
His cloths are usually in the colors leather brown, and navy blue. He usually wears a wide hat, and covers himself with a cloak, when he wanders. Under his cloak, he always carries around wrapped up parchments, small bags containing quills, and phials of ink. He uses these to study, and write whenever he can find a source of light, and he does not have to travel.
A dark black crow travels along Lunadros at almost all times. He is often seen sitting on his shoulder, or laying down on top of his wide hat. The crow, DĂșaiwenor, often caws around Lunadros, and seems to be communicating with him. Lunadros usually answers.
Known History:
Lunadros has been a wandering Elf for unknown years past - after leaving his home, and birthplace, Imladris (Rivendell). He has traveled around many places in Middle-Earth, often stopping, studying, and inspecting the places he has visited. He always writes about the history, and lore of the places he visits, especially their ruins, ancient artifacts, and other special curiousities. He is constantly in search of something, although he has never told anybody what he is truly looking for. He often speaks of a book he is writing, which he wants to leave behind for the world before his final departure to the West. Although he often speaks of this departure, and how much he is taken by sorrow for leaving Middle-Earth, he has been wandering around with this purpose for centuries, and never seems to be getting ready for traveling West.
Lunadros had almost always traveled alone, and thus he is not used to having almost any company. At least not humanoid company - as he always keeps his crow, DĂșaweinor with him, wherever he travels. Even though the bird travels to different places from time to time, it always returns to Lunadros. He describes himself as a lone wolf, however, in reality he really yearns for attention, and affection by others, he is just not used to getting it, since during his travels, he had often been viewed as an outcast, and a stranger. The same opinion can be heard about him in Imladris, as well, and Lunadros almost always tries to avoid that place. Although he sometimes tries to enter the Refuge of Elves, and he is allowed inside Imladris, his family and relatives do not accept his presence. Lunadros never spoke with anybody about the reason for this animosity.
In the end, Lunadros is constantly wandering - or sometimes, it seems as if he was constantly on the run. Hiding from some unknown presence, while also studying, and exploring about Middle-Earth as much as he can. Before it is too late.
